I would love if you could join me for my Senior Voice Recital this Monday, March 5th, 2007 at 7:30 pm in The Master's College Music Recital Hall.

My lovely accompanist Morgan Nelson and I will be performing a broad spectrum of pieces; from Bach to Straus to early Italian and Irish Love Song. A personal favorite is the deeply emotional "Sleep" by Ivor Gurney from my set of English Art Songs.

As well, my good friends Randle Rankin and Christin Siemer will be joining me for the performance of "Agony" from Sondheim's broadway musical "Into the Woods" and Mendelssohn's "I Waited for the Lord". Also being performed is "Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring" with my wonderful sister Rachel Wheeler on violin and our friend Emily Duncan on harp. Of course, with my ex-accompanist Paul Ellsworth as my stage manager who knows what's bound to happen...? Then after the recital we'll all meet for a reception outside the recital hall for refreshments and fellowship.

Tenor,
Joshua Wheeler
